A key win by Nolan Lambert at No. 2 singles allowed the Bluffton Tigers to score a victory over Adams Central Monday in varsity tennis.
Originally scheduled as a home match for Bluffton, the contest was unexpectedly moved to the new courts at Adams Central as the Tigers’ facility was not yet ready for play.
It was a competitive night throughout the night and the Tigers also came away with a close, 5-4 victory in the junior varsity contests.
The Jets got another solid performance from Ean Brown at No. 1 singles, beating Anthony Hartman in straight sets at 6-2, 6-4.
Logan Heiman was the other winner for AC at No. 3 singles. Bluffton swept the varsity doubles matches.
