It was a 5-0 shutout for the Bellmont Braves at home Wednesday over sectional rival Woodlan as senior Andrew James scored a brace, one of four different goalscorers for the Braves.
The Braves outshot Woodlan 11-1 in the first 40 minutes, with James scoring from the run of play and again from a PK later in the half.

Bellmont also got another goal from Daniel Vogel in the opening half, which saw the Braves on the front foot throughout. Goalie Parker Frietas was asked to make just one save in his half of play.

The home side outshot Woodlan again in the second half (7-2) and Taufeeq Ally scored his first varsity goal and that was followed by a fifth by Sean Boyle.
Alex Schirack picked up two assists in the game, while Jake Hackman and Drew Kolter were also credited with assists.

Xavior Palacios made two saves in his 40 minutes between the posts for Bellmont, who continue to regularly rotate goalkeepers this season.
