The recent Day of Caring, Stuff a Bus, was a huge success in Adams County, according to United Way Executive Director Jessica Thieme.
The one-day event collected food and toiletry items for food pantries in Adams County and local agencies.

Items were collected at several sites: the United Way office on E. Monroe St. in Decatur, Adams Central Schools, First United Methodist Church in Geneva, and the Geneva Chamber of Commerce on E. Main St.
“We appreciate all of the volunteers who were able to volunteer their time during this event, whether it be for volunteering at a bus location or donating food and toiletry items,” Thieme said.
Among the numerous volunteers were the four from Star Insurance seen in photo; from left, Carla Guereca, Jill Carter, Kathy Christman, and Janel Guereca.
