The Indiana Football Coaches Association released its preseason polls on Monday, and two Adams County rivals are both ranked high in their respective polls.
Even with the bump up to 3A due to the success factor, Adams Central ranks 5th in the preseason poll. Their Semi-State opponent for the last two years, Andrean (who also bumped up due to the success factor) is atop the 3A poll. Bluffton also made its way to the 3A preseason poll, coming in 18th. The Tigers were moved up to 3A due to size.
Meanwhile in the 1A poll, South Adams slots in 3rd, behind Riverton Parke and Pioneer, who beat South Adams in the Semi-State last year. The Starfires did claim one first place vote.
