The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of State Road 101 south of Monroeville for a box culvert replacement.
Starting on or after July 6, crews will replace a culvert on S.R. 101 between Hoagland and Flatrock roads. Work on the project is expected to last for a month. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During construction, S.R. 101 will be closed to through traffic. Drivers should use the official detour of U.S. 30, I-469, U.S. 27 and U.S. 33, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
