The Fort Wayne Philharmonic will be returning to Decatur.
Adams Health and the Adams County Community Foundation have announced that they are sponsoring “a special evening of music and celebration” featuring the Fort Wayne Philharmonic’s Patriotic Pops.
The event will be held on Sunday, June 28, in Bellmont High School’s Erekson Theatre. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. and the performance is set to begin at 7:30.

No admission will be charged and the event is open to the public.
The sponsors said the concert will commemorate two important milestones: America’s 250th anniversary and the Adams County Community Foundation’s 35th anniversary.
The Philharmonic will showcase a selection of patriotic favorites and inspiring musical pieces.
“Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend this free event honoring the nation’s history and the continued strength of the local community,” the announcement said.
The Philharmonic performed in the Erekson Theatre three years ago and drew a packed house.
