Bevan J. Koenig, age 56, of Linn Grove, IN, passed away at 2:02 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at his home. He was born on Tuesday, September 30, 1969, in Coldwater, OH. Bevan was a 1988 graduate of Jay County High School. He worked for All American Homes in Decatur for 9 years, was self-employed at H&K Construction in Pennville, and for Eckhart Woodworking in Monroe for over 20 years. Bevan enjoyed drawing, doing artwork, sketching, and singing Karaoke. He was a collector of antique board games, a master woodworker, and an amateur chef.
He will be forever missed by his significant other, Suzanne Foy, Linn Grove, IN, daughter, Angela E. (Geoff) Moench, Fairlawn, VA, son, Tyler J. (Heather) Ryder, Greenville, VA, brother, Mark A. (Kimberly) Koenig, New Haven, IN, sister, Karen K. (Richard) Reinhart, Bryant, IN, twin brother, Kevin J. (Angela) Koenig, Holgate, OH, sister, Sarah J. (Douglas) Northrop, Grass Lake, MI, 3 grandchildren, 1 niece, 9 nephews, and 6 great nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Frank and Ruth Lauretta (Klima) Koenig.
