Downtown Decatur Day becomes Downtown Decatur Days this weekend with all manner of events being kicked off Friday night on the Madison St. Plaza.
Hours are 6-9 Friday (for Singo) and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
Decatur Main St. sponsors the event each year and says this year’s celebration will be the biggest yet, including a car show.
According to the Main Street organization, downtown merchants will have sales specials – some on the sidewalks – and local restaurants will be offering food and drink specials.

There will be no admission charged except for a $5 wristband to enter Saturday’s kid zone.
Food and drink will be available.
Singo games – a mix between bingo and music – get the festivities started Friday night, with kid-themed games at 6 and adult-themed games to follow.
All Saturday activities will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Kids Zone is scheduled to be open from 10 to 2. A $5 wristband will be required for each child,.
Car show awards will be presented at 1:30 p.m.
BIKE PRIZES: Decatur Main Street is selling tickets in a raffle for two Fuji electric bikes.
The bikes are valued at a total of $3,500.
The raffle also features $500 an $250 cash prizes.
Tickets are $20 each and just 500 will be sold, Main Street said.
Tickets are available at City Hall and from Main Streeter
