NEW HAVEN – The Bellmont Braves had two new PRs in the pole vault and several other season marks to make a successful night of NE8 track and field action Tuesday at New Haven.
Landon Sielschott cleared ten feet for the first time in an official meet in the pole vault, validating an earlier attempt in the year that was canceled due to weather.
The Braves also now have a trio of vaulters who have cleared nine feet after sophomore Emmett Lengerich tossed his previous PR (7-06) out the window and cleared nine feet.

Hudson Krull set a new personal record of 44.74 to win the 300 M hurdles Tuesday at New Haven.

It was also a big night in the shot for the Braves, with Zayne Roop and Dominic McDowell tossing 44 and 41 feet, respectively, for first and second place. Both were career bests for the Braves throwers.

In the girls’ meet, senior Quinn Buchan won the 200 and finished second in the 100 with career-best times.
