What was once green shall be green again!
An issue with what was sprayed on Worthman Field and around Riverside Center has turned grass from green to brown.
But not to worry!

Everything has been reseeded “so we hope to see green grass again in a week,” Parks Superintendent Cara Gerber said.
LOTS OF FUN: Various summer camps in Decatur have been announced by the parks and recreation department.
Beginning Monday, June 8, 10 different classes for various age groups will be held each Monday through the first of August.
Those interested must pre-register at Riverside Center and should note that classes are limited.
Here are the classes:
Painting with Ruth Green
Basics of pickleball
Fishing camp
Ice cream and rock painting
Matchbox and car races
Learn to paddle board, kayak and canoe
Lifeguard camp
Hair curling
Learn to build a cardboard boat

POOL PAINTING: Kohne Painting recently went to work on the city pool to get it ready for the upcoming season.
The pool’s scheduled opening day is Saturday, June 6.
