Liz Bobay and Taylor Sutter smashed three hits apiece Monday as the Bellmont Braves smashed past NE8 rivals Huntington North for a 14-1 victory, winning just the second game in the last eight contests.

Hitting out of the 4-5 spots in the lineup, the two corner infielders scored five runs, with Bobay popping two doubles and Sutter driving in two runs, as well.

Bellmont scored seven times in the first inning, then six more times in the second against Chey Catellier, who went the distance in the five-inning game, striking out two.

Izzy Isch added a three-run double and Hayden DeBolt had a pair of hits for the visitors.

Adi Radecki allowed just four hits and walked none in the start for the Braves, mowing down nine Viking batters with the K. She needed just 88 pitches to get the Braves to victory.
