The Adams County Economic Development Corporation (ACEDC) has announced the launch of a new Small Business Funding Program designed to support the county’s small business community.
Adams County Economic Development Corp. (ACEDC) President/CEO Colton Bickel said the program offers eligible small businesses a combination of grant or loan funding, including grants of up to $1,000 and low-interest loans ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.
The flexible funding is intended to help businesses start, grow, or overcome short-term financial challenges, he explained.

“Our small businesses are the backbone of Adams County’s economy,” Bickel said. “This program is designed to provide accessible capital that can make a real difference — whether it’s helping a business purchase equipment, manage operating costs, or take the next step toward growth.”
Funding may be used for a variety of business-related expenses, including but not limited to equipment purchases, marketing, working capital, and minor facility improvements.
Bickel said the program is geared toward locally-owned small businesses operating within Adams County.
Key features of the Small Business Funding Program include:
* Grant funding of up to $1,000.
* Loan funding between $1,000 and $4,000.
* Affordable repayment terms.
* Support for new and existing small businesses.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, subject to funding availability.
Interested business owners are encouraged to apply early, Bickel said.
