News came out of the court system in Adams County Wednesday afternoon that Nathan Mihm had entered into a plea agreement in the case against him regarding charges of theft, perjury and conflict of interest.
An initial investigation into Mihm’s actions as Union Township Trustee sparked an investigation into the township’s books by the Indiana State Board of Accounts. In August of 2024, that body of state government ordered Mihm to repay the township, located in the northeast corner of Adams County and bordering Ohio, the sum of over $250,000. Mihm was then charged with two counts of felony theft, a count of felony perjury and four more counts of conflict of interest.

According to the Adams County Prosecutor’s Office, Mihm will be sentenced on September 16th in Adams County.
