It was Senior Night at the final home match of the season for the South Adams Starfires but the young Stars had no seniors in their lineup against the Huntington North Vikings. Coach Sawyer’s Miller declared themselves ready for Saturday’s Team State with a 49-28 victory.

The team wrestled once again without the injured Isaiah Meyer, who is unlikely to be available Saturday. The team will have to find a way without him.
Despite spotting the Vikes 18 points because of three forfeits. South Adams jumped out to a 26-6 lead when Will Patterson won by fall with three seconds remaining in the first period at 132.
After Sawyer Teusch got one back for the visitors at 138, Wyatt Mann and Braxtyn Hough responded with pins to clinch the win.

Nathan Plattner returned to the mat and won his bout with an 18-2 tech fall.
