The 2020 election, which was so different for America because of the pandemic, saw county voters cast 10,686 votes in favor of incumbent President Trump (75.05%). Eventual President-Elect Joe Biden received 3,236 votes, representing 22.73% of the votes cast. The Libertarian candidate received 287 votes from Adams County voters.
In the 2016 presidential election, which was won by Trump, Adams County cast 9,648 votes for Donald Trump, representing 73.12% of the 13,194 votes cast. Hillary Clinton received 2,805 votes (21.26%) and Adams County residents cast 741 votes for other candidates.
