Adams County Prosecutor Jeremy Brown released information on the arrest of Ryan Miller, 43, on five felony charges for possession of child pornography.
All five counts are listed as Level 5 Felonies. They relate to images dating back as far as September 2022 and as recent as May of 2024.
The investigation stemmed from a tip generated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) to the Indiana State Police in April of 2023.
A company housing the servers for the Verizon cloud generated the tip to the NCMEC based on images found to be connected to Miller’s phone.
In March of 2024, a raid was conducted at Miller’s workplace in connection with the ISP and then later at his home.
