Kenneth E. Birch, 77, of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on August 28, 2024, at Envive of Berne. He was born on August 4, 1947, to the late Kenneth P. Birch and Catherine A. (Fisher) Birch. Kenny lived a life marked by service, dedication, and love for his family.
Kenny was a proud graduate of Ball State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. His careers included roles as an Educator and in Insurance Sales. He also served his country honorably in the United States Army, a testament to his commitment and sense of duty.
Kenny is survived by his three sisters, Nancy (David) Luginbill of Monroe, IN, Paula (John) Gutierrez of Paulding, OH, and Marnie (Steve) Shaffer of Decatur, IN; his two brothers, Craig Birch of Pleasant Mills, IN, and Jeff Birch of Fort Wayne, IN; his step-mother, Betty Birch, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service with full military honors will be held at Springhill Cemetery, at a later date, with a meal at 1929 S 200 E, Monroe, IN (the home of David and Nancy Luginbill). All who knew and loved Kenny are invited to join the family in remembering and honoring his life.
