The Adams County Commissioners are moving forward with studies on how to best develop new housing in the county to keep up with the demand.
Representatives of a statewide homebuyer assistance program known as “Club 720” appeared before the Commissioners this week with updates and ideas about how to best help the local effort.
WZBD’s Ed Thurman spoke with Heather Presley-Cowen of Club 720 about the ways local leaders are now considering their help…
Presley-Cowen says most cities and counties in northeast Indiana can’t build homes and apartments fast enough to keep up with the demand.
In the meantime, the County Commissioners, the County Council, city leaders, and local economic development leaders are working together on the same issue in an effort to meet the demand of the housing market.
