Norwell came to Adams Central Tuesday to take on the Jetskis and a few Blackhawk Christian swimmers were sprinkled in as the two teams met for the second time in four days after Saturday\u2019s Norwell Invite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Knights took out the Jets by a score of 141 to 86.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlights and Notes:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Brooke Thomas cut two seconds from her time in Saturday\u2019s Invite in the 200 Free to take second Tuesday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Norwell\u2019s Cassie Coyne turned in an impressive performance in the IM, edging out Blackhawk\u2019s  Janelle Albrecht to win in 2:30.23. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Emerson Meredith (Norwell) turned in the fastest time in Z Land to this point early in the season in the 50, winning in 26.62. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-AC\u2019s Baylee Smith swam her season best and took second in the 50. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ella Krug of Norwell took the butterfly with a season-best time of 1:05.83<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Teammate Ryleigh Huffman also swan a season best and was second in the fly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Thomas also won the 100 Free, swimming a season-best time of 1:02.03. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-It was an extremely close finish between Norwell and AC in the 200 Free Relay, with the Knights taking the heat by .02 seconds with a season-best time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Jillian Melcher\u2019s quest for a sectional title in the backstroke got off to a good start with a time of 1:06.16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Marlee Meredith of Norwell turned in the fastest breaststroke time in Z Land this season with a second-place time of 1:17.13, beating teammate Haleigh Reinhard, who also swam a season best, by 1.62 seconds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-AC\u2019s Savannah Hendricks cut some time from her swim Saturday to take fourth in the breaststroke.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
