Judith Ann Rekeweg, 78, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed into eternal life Monday morning, November 6, 2023, at Lutheran Life Villages Pine-Valley in Fort Wayne, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was born at home on February 9, 1945, in Wells County, Indiana to the late Lawrence and Edith Arlene (Woods) Rekeweg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Judith was a member of St. Paul\u2019s Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She graduated from Ossian High School and following graduation, she was a nurse\u2019s aide at the old Lutheran Hospital on Fairfield Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Judith\u2019s younger years, she enjoyed baking and crocheting. She continued to enjoy crocheting and bingo at Lutheran Life Villages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Judith is survived by her sister, Sunny \u201cFern\u201d (David) Dailey of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; brother-in-law, Donald Jones of Bluffton, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Jones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A committal service will be held at 10:00 a.m. November 10, 2023, at Concordia Cemetery Gardens Chapel, 5365 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In lieu of floral gifts, preferred memorials can be given to St. Paul\u2019s Lutheran Church. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
