Adams Memorial Hospital will host a Community Health Fair this Friday from 6:30 a.m. until noon at the South Adams Senior Center in Berne (825 Hendricks Street).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An announcement said a variety of services, screenings, and health and wellness education will be provided, including lab testing and flu shots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The available lab tests will include chem 30, $40; chem 30 + TSH, $55; PSA (for men), $25; TSH (thyroid), $20; and CBC, $25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Flu shots will be offered at $25 each, or the hospital will file through a person’s insurance if requested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other health and wellness screenings will include free A1C checks, hearing screens, speech and language screenings, blood pressure checks and much more, hospital officials said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Educational information will be available regarding diabetes support, and behavioral health services, including self-care, anxiety and depression, postpartum mental health screens, parenting resources and support, and coping skills.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
