extremely busy in Stratton Place in Decatur, so a traffic limitation was requested by some of the residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One resident, Nan Everett, asked council if traffic could be limited to one direction during the two hours (5:30-7:30) set aside for trick or treating, this year on Tuesday, Oct. 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCars are going every which way\u201d on that night, Everett said, and some people think a one-way traffic pattern would provide some safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.icav.us\/\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe question is, how do you control the general public,\u201d Councilman Matt Dyer asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Others wanted to know how news of the situation could be advanced to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police Chief Kevin Gerber said he could have an officer at Stratton during the two hours.<br>It was decided to use some barricades to help control the traffic, and any other possible means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mayor Dan Rickord said he wanted to have Gerber and Operations Manager Jeremy Gilbert go to Stratton and check out the possibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Safety
