Fall has arrived and Decatur Main Street is planning to celebrate with a special event for the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Fall for Decatur Festival will be held on the Madison St. Plaza from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6. All sorts of fun and games are planned \u2013 including Chili Cook-off and a Halloween-themed movie outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pumpkin bowling and bobbing for apples are on the schedule, with cider and food to be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admission will be free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDo you think your secret chili recipe is the best in town? Here’s your chance to prove it,\u201d Main Street officials say. \u201cBring your A-game and compete against fellow chili enthusiasts for the title of ‘Chili Champion.’\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening will wrap up with a free showing of a Halloween classic, \u201cHocus Pocus,\u201d starting at 8:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, of course, popcorn will be available for purchase!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
