Saturday’s ACAC tournament at Heritage High School looked to be anti-climactic as many believed the match in Pool B between the top two teams in the conference standings, South Adams and Woodlan, was the de facto championship match. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all, the Jets had already lost nine matches this year, including one to Woodlan earlier this year and after the Warriors fell rather easily to the Starfires in the early afternoon, the 22-2 South Adams team looked like clear favorites to knock off the Jets and continue their long winning streak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
