With just a few matches left in the regular season, the Norwell Knights made a statement in their quest to win their first sectional title since 2016 by beating Adams Central with four wins in straight sets Wednesday night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four seniors in the Norwell lineup continued their dominance in 2023 with wins at the top two singles slots and another at No. 1 doubles. Norwell lost just eight games in those six sets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lone winner for Adams Central was No. 3 Logan Heiman, who beat Gavin Reynolds 6-4, 6-4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jets now face a potential rematch with their season on the line next week, either in the opening round or in the semifinals, depending on Monday night’s draw at the IHSAA offices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
