The Bellmont Braves met a tough foe Tuesday night on their home courts and were swept in singles play by Bishop Dwenger. The teams split varsity doubles, with Bellmont winning at No. 2 Doubles with Marisol Jackson and Lucie McIntire playing together for the first time this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dwenger singles players were dominant on serve and freshman Lillian Jin was the only Bellmont individual to win a set, taking the first with ease before Anna Yoder settled into her game and came back to win the next two. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jackson and McIntire won love-two to save the Braves from the shutout.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marisol Jackson played varsity for the first time this season and, with the help of partner Lucie McIntire, won the only point for Bellmont on the night against Dwenger. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The team is back home for another meet against Wayne on Thursday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
