Less than ten days away from this year’s IHSAA golf sectional, the Norwell Knights won easily in a three-way meet with Bluffton and Heritage, shooting a solid 180 to win comfortably on the Back Nine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In previous years, the meet would have served as a warm-up for the sectional tournament at Timber Ridge, but this year’s IHSAA sectional is now in Fort Wayne at Chestnut Hills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a battle for medalist honors throughout the night between the No. 1 and No. 2 for Norwell, but a couple of pars early in the round by Anna Dodane gave her a one-stroke victory over Ellie Gatton for best score. Dodane shot a +6 round of 42. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best round of the night for the Tigers came from Emma Schwartz and Piper Morgan. Both shot 47.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heritage’s No. 1, Natalie Otte, finished with a solid 48 to lead the Patriots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
