The long trip to Noble Hawk yielded an important win for the Bellmont Braves Wednesday as they downed East Noble 202-211 to guarantee a finish in the top half of the NE8. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This was a good effort on a difficult course that resulted in a nice win,” said head coach Mike Macke. “The greens were very quick and there were a few really tough pin placements.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Braves got solid rounds from Krosbi Butler and Meghan Pettibone, with both seniors shooting 49. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

East Noble’s Lily Oburn was medalist at 46, but the Knights’ next-best score was a 53. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Leo match, which was rained out on Tuesday, will be played next Tuesday for the Braves and will replace the originally-scheduled match with Heritage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
