{"id":5755,"date":"2023-08-27T20:21:05","date_gmt":"2023-08-28T00:21:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=5755"},"modified":"2023-08-27T20:21:08","modified_gmt":"2023-08-28T00:21:08","slug":"local-amish-man-killed-after-being-hit-by-car","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2023\/08\/27\/local-amish-man-killed-after-being-hit-by-car\/","title":{"rendered":"Local Amish man killed after being hit by car"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The grandson of a Geneva woman was killed in an Amish buggy vehicle collision which occurred on Thursday evening in Jay County.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dead is Harley Jacob Schwartz, 22, of rural Portland, the grandson of Katie Hilty of Geneva.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accident occurred on State Road 18 near Bryant when the buggy operated by Harley Schwartz was struck in the rear by a car operated by Deborah Houser of Peru, Indiana.
