After having their Thursday match rained out, the South Adams Starfires had to settle on waiting for Saturday to play in the Monroe Central Invite at Hickory Hills Golf Course and they came away with a seventh-place finish among ten teams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta’s Belle Brown was the medalist with a 77 as the Eagles won the event by 28 strokes over neighboring Daleville. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Julia Arnold played one of the best rounds of her year and finished with a 96, while Addy Hinton shot her best round of the year and carded a 103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Starfires will take on Adams Central and Jay County at the ACAC course in Celina on Wednesday in the heat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
