If you’re hot for the Red Hot Chili Peppers of the 1980s and beyond, then come on down to the Madison St. Plaza in Decatur Thursday night where you will get a couple of hours of RHCP music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Red NOT Chili Peppers will be performing from 7 to 9 p.m. In the latest edition of the Decatur Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 Summer Concert Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no admission charge. Food vendors and adult beverages will be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Red NOT Chili Peppers say they pay tribute to the \u201cultimate funk rock quartet \u2013 a band who has transcended three decades of chart-topping success as well as developed one of the largest die-hard fan bases in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The original Peppers were formed in Los Angeles in 1982.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday’s entertainment will also include local talent, 10-year-old Savannah Zimmerman (photo) set to perform at 6:45 p.m. She will get guitar accompaniment from her dad, Josh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
