The South Adams Starfires won all three singles matches to win a hard-earned match against the Blackhawk Christian Braves Tuesday, 3-2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wins were anything but easy at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, though, and the home court advantage may have just made the difference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kade Sprunger’s strong season continued and he took care of business quickly on the No. 1 court, but the other two Starfire singles players dropped their opening sets by identical 6-4 scores. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cole Hyman needed a tiebreak to win the second set and then cruised to a 6-1 win in the third, while Griffin Hill needed the tiebreak to clinch the team match in his third set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Braves were too good in the varsity doubles matches and took them both as consolation prizes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Starfires will wrap up their regular season with an ACAC match against Jay County Thursday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
