Morgan Huss trimmed six strokes off her previous best round on the Back Nine at Cross Creek to fire a 44 and take medalist honors against Heritage Tuesday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Huss broke bogey and helped the Braves to a team score of 190 for a three-stroke win over the Patriots. The two teams will play again Friday at Chestnut Hills in the IHSAA sectional. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Braves also got a season-best performance from Lyla Post, who broke 50 on the Back for the first time this year, shooting a 49. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was the best team effort for the home team on those nine holes, as well. The 190 was nine strokes better than when they hosted East Noble. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Heritage, all four scorers had better rounds than their other attempt on the Back Nine earlier in the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natalie Sorg shot a 47 to lead Heritage, while freshman Grace Buuck had an outstanding round of 48. Aubrey Stoll and Morgan Comment each broke 50, as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
