Coach Tami Henry’s varsity volleyball team captured the first victory of the season Tuesday at Churubusco, winning in straight sets, 25-12, 25-11, 25-13. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victory comes just a couple of days after a marathon loss at home to Bellmont to kick off the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The loss dropped the Eagles to 0-2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freshman Kelsey Beaver led the Jets with five aces in her two sets of play on just twelve attempts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daisy Hindenlang and Slone Schortgen led the Jets with nine kills each. Jentrie Schaefer continued her hot start with seven kills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jets’ blocks in the game all came from their freshman trio – Schaefer, Schortgen and Claire Foreman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma Hirschy led Adams Central with 12 digs and Luci Noblitt tallied 17 assists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
