They are standing with the first 2023 John Sipe Scholar, Catherine Bauman, an Adams Central senior. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John and Jill have\u00a0five daughters, Rebekah, Katie, Jessica, Elizabeth, Sarah and 10 grandchildren.\u00a0John Sipe was a 1969 graduate of Adams Central High School and a member of the Grace Bible Church in Berne. He was a very godly man with a servant\u2019s heart. His \u2018pride and joy\u2019 was being the founder of Sipe Family Singers and he also sang bass for the Southern Gospel groups, Work In Progress and Faithful Sons.\u00a0John was a lifetime dairy farmer and owned and operated John Sipe Trucking. He served on the Blue Creek Township Advisory Board and Adams Central School Board.
