{"id":37839,"date":"2026-07-23T07:16:42","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T11:16:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=37839"},"modified":"2026-07-23T07:24:31","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T11:24:31","slug":"amstein-takes-over-reins-of-heritage-boys-track","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2026\/07\/23\/amstein-takes-over-reins-of-heritage-boys-track\/","title":{"rendered":"Amstein takes over reins of Heritage boys track"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New Heritage Jr.\/Sr. High School athletic director Josh Dommer announced this week that Steve Amstein will lead the boys&#8217; track and field team for the 2026-27 season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Coach Amstein returns for his second stint leading the Patriots,&#8221; said Dommer, &#8220;and he brings more than 27 years of coaching experience to the program. He currently runs cross country at Indiana Tech. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coach Amstein has been around the Heritage program for a long time. He&#8217;s been married to his wife, Meg, for 28 years.
