Krueckeberg, 94, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Adams Woodcrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She was born on June 4, 1932, in Union Township, Indiana, to the late Hugo Thieme and Emilie (Weber) Thieme. Olga was united in marriage to Arthur E.F. Krueckeberg on July 30, 1950, and together they shared nearly 68 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on May 22, 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/lg-85.jpg?resize=640%2C800&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37567\" style=\"width:195px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/lg-85.jpg?w=819&amp;ssl=1 819w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/lg-85.jpg?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/lg-85.jpg?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Olga was a devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she faithfully served the Lord through her involvement with the LWML, singing in the church choir, serving on the altar guild, and serving as the Branch Coordinator for AAL. She was also a lifelong member of the Merry Matrons Home Economic Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She worked as a Marketing Consultant at Woodcrest. She also dedicated 27 years of service to the Back Forty Restaurant and retired in 1998 from Adams Health Network. In addition to her work outside the home, Olga was a devoted partner to her husband, Art, on the family farm, where together they spent many years as dairy farmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Olga found great joy in tending to her gardens, especially her beloved roses. She loved singing and sharing her talents with others, and she cherished the opportunity to lend a helping hand at Immanuel House. Above all she cherished and loved her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Survivors include her daughter, Linda Davis of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three sons, Don (Penny) Krueckeberg of Pierceton, Indiana, Randal (Becky) Krueckeberg of Decatur, Indiana, and Roger (Christina) Krueckeberg of Angola, Indiana; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alexis Rae Krueckeberg; and her brothers, Paul Thieme and Lorenz Thieme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Kevin McGladdery officiating. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Family and friends will be received from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Zwick &amp; Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preferred memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Immanuel House.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Olga W.
