Bellmont freshman Adi Radecki continued to wow Braves fans and mow down opposing batters with another standout performance Wednesday night, leading her team to a 12-0 win in five innings with 12 strikeouts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Radecki allowed just a pair of singles in the game and walked just one batter. The Braves’ defense made two errors behind her, but she always came up with a K when she needed one. Radecki ended four of her five innings with a strikeout, maintaining the shutout and saving the team’s energy for Thursday’s championship game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Braves staked their freshman starter to an early lead, bringing everyone in the lineup to bat and putting five runs on the board. Carissa Mickley and Isabelle Buuck both knocked in two runs with hits in the opening inning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Braves got RBI hits again from Mickley and Buuck to run the score to 8-0 in the third and Oni Krueckeberg made it 9-0 with a two-out run-scoring single. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a 1-2-3 top of the fourth, the Braves scored thrice more and Radecki struck out the side to advance the Braves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aly Earnest took the loss for Marion, giving up 11 hits and striking out two. She walked just one batter and six of the twelve runs were charged as unearned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liz Bobay also had, like Carissa Mickley and Buuck, two hits, while Chevelle Oetting drove in two runs in the win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
