The music of the world-renowned U2 band will be coming to the Madison St. Plaza for the first time on Thursday as The Push, a U2 tribute band, will kick off the Decatur Chamber of Commece’s 2026 summer Concert Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will mark the first of 13 consecutive Thursdays with live music on the plaza’s stage and the Riverside Center parking lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Push is scheduled to perform from 7 to 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No admission is charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Various food items will be for sale and the Oasis Pub will be offering adult beverages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four men comprise The Push and will present the music of U2, an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 1976.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

July 2 – Proud Mary CCR, 6 – 9 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

July 9 – Whoa Man, 6 – 9 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

July 16 – Strait Jack, 6 – 9 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

July 23 – Silver Stallion (Hiwaymen) , 7 – 9 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

July 30 – Seymour (John Mellencamp), 7 – 9 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

August 6 – Derek Jones Band, 7 – 9 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

August 13 – Simply the Best (Tina Turner), 7 – 9:15 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aug 20 – Sunglasses At Night, 6 – 9 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n
