Beau Stoppenhagen and Kingston Galentine combined to drive in six runs on five hits as the Heritage Patriots pushed their season record to 13-1 with an 11-3 win at Columbia City Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A seven-spot in the top of the third was plenty for Patriot reliever Eli Rauner, who earned the win after taking over for Brady Boyle and earned the victory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaxon Feasby also kept the Heritage pitching staff fresh with 3.1 innings of relief, striking out two. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stoppenhagen knocked in a run in the top of the second to negate a brief Eagle lead, then the bottom of the lineup started a big rally in the third, with Feasby pulling off a successful squeeze bunt to give Heritage a lead they would not relinquish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bases-loaded walk to Garrett Oliver spelled trouble for Cooper Graves, because it turned the lineup over to Stoppenhagen, who emptied the bases with a double. Galentine then drove home Stoppenhagen and Lucas Taylor made it 8-1 with an RBI single. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
