Commissioners President Steve Bailey told WZBD&#8217;s Ed Thurman that the issue is very important for future development and growth in the cities and towns in Adams County&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/702_1418.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Bailey says the discussion has only just begun, and decisions won&#8217;t be made on the issue for some time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, county highway officials want to remind Adams County residents that the deadline for purchasing dust mats for gravel roads in the county is coming up soon, as is the deadline for buggy plates on horse-drawn vehicles.
