Roach had a double at the plate and 12 strikeouts on the mound to give Adams Central the win despite the absence of head coach Josh Foster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/23aprLanceBussInterview.mp3\"><\/audio><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Assistant coach Lance Busse conducts the postgame interview after standing in as head coach for the night. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Roach&#8217;s only run allowed as unearned and he did not walk a batter. He did, however, hit four batters, with Jakob Gearheart plunked on the second pitch of the game and scoring on an error.
