Kaigan Lee struck out nine batters in five innings of work, keeping the Bellmont Braves in the game on a wet Friday night, but the Bishop Luers Knights used two successful bunts to break a 5-5 tie and go on to a 7-5 victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lee homered in the fourth to break up a 2-2 tie, hitting a three-run bomb to center as part of a two-hit night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A two-RBI triple by Jaxson Hill in the next half inning, however, cut the Bellmont lead to one and Hill scored two pitches later to tie the game right back up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack Schultz came on in relief of Lee after he allowed a leadoff single in the sixth. Schultz allowed the inherited runner to score and one of his own before getting out of the inning. He struck out one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
