Head coach Steve Lee’s Bellmont girls soccer program has lost one single match in a soccer sectional in the last 13 seasons. The team’s quest to continue their sectional streak will require a much different path this fall after the IHSAA re-aligned the local 2A fields and shifted the Braves into an eight-team field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The shift puts the girls’ program in a similar situation to the boys’ field for the last several years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
2A Sectional #20 (Girls): Bellmont, Bishop Dwenger, Bishop Luers, Concordia Lutheran, Heritage, Leo, Norwell, Woodlan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Braves beat Bishop Dwenger in a shootout in the regional semifinals last season before falling in the regional championship game in Mishawaka. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Boys’ Soccer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Bellmont sectional for boys’ soccer is relatively unchanged.
