Minnich, 76, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Christian Care in Bluffton. Karen was born in Decatur, IN on November 14, 1949, to the late Glenn and Garni (Branstetter) Bollenbacher. On August 3, 1975, Karen married Stephen E. Minnich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"246\" height=\"346\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/69caba8b62ec1.jpg?resize=246%2C346&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35458\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/69caba8b62ec1.jpg?w=246&amp;ssl=1 246w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wzbd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/69caba8b62ec1.jpg?resize=213%2C300&amp;ssl=1 213w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 246px) 100vw, 246px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Karen attended the Lighthouse Church and volunteered in the food pantry, helped cook for funeral dinners and attended Sunday School. Karen also helped with 4-H. She worked for Smith Brothers and DRG Group as an Accountant and HR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Stephen E. Minnich of Decatur; son, Adam E. (Emily) Minnich of Preble; daughter, Jennifer S. (Travis) Kinyo of Bluffton; 2 grandchildren, Clayton and Tyson Minnich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A graveside service for Karen will be held at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arrangements are entrusted to Haggard-Hirschy &amp; Zelt Funeral Home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Karen S.
