Yocum, 81 of Markle and a former Bluffton resident, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, March 31, 2026, at Markle Health &amp; Rehab Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was born on September 23, 1944, in Decatur, Indiana to Elmer Gene &amp; Francis D. (Ross) Nooner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vickie worked for many years at Thunderbird Boat, now Formula Boats, in Decatur. She was a very determined person, who enjoyed watching old western movies and playing solitaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is survived by two daughters, Diane E. Garcia of Bluffton and Jessica R. (Scott) Altic of Decatur and two grandchildren, Ethan R. Yocum and Eveie Yocum, both of Decatur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Growing up, Vickie was the youngest of six girls. She is preceded in death by her five sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Vickie requested, there will be no formal service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lemler family of Thoma\/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vickie E.
