The Heritage Patriots were hoping for a bounce back win after losing their fourth win in a row at North Side earlier this week, but they tossed out a lead in the second half and lost to East Allen rival New Haven Friday night, 65-54. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The win pushed New Haven’s season record to 16-5 and solidifies the Bulldogs as the favorite heading into Sunday night’s draw by the IHSAA for the 3A Sectional #22 at Bellmont in two weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Patriots had the lead heading into the fourth quarter, but could not break their losing streak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s as simple as this – we just started turning the ball over,” noted head coach Kyle Sovine on his team’s loss to New Haven. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lantae Cassel returned to the team and gave the Patriots a lift, but his 17 points were not enough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kingston Galentine’s 18 points led the team in scoring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taurean Brown had 10 points in the loss. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
