The Angola Hornets came into the Teepee Wednesday night and slashed the Bellmont defense for 29 made field goals across 32 minutes on their way to a 70-45 victory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turnovers for the Braves, combined with easy finishes for the visitors after breakdowns in the Bellmont defense gave the Hornets a marked advantage. They scored 22 points in the first quarter alone to jump out to a big lead. The advantage was ten points by halftime and 15 at the end of the third. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bellmont got 13 points from both Daniel Selking and Cameron Summers. The Braves also knocked down three from behind the arc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was the seventh loss in a row for the Braves, who now must turn around and make the long road trip to DeKalb on Friday night. It will be the team’s last chance to win a conference game this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
