{"id":33133,"date":"2026-02-05T14:53:45","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T19:53:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/?p=33133"},"modified":"2026-02-05T14:53:47","modified_gmt":"2026-02-05T19:53:47","slug":"new-parks-post-to-be-filled-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wzbd.com\/index.php\/2026\/02\/05\/new-parks-post-to-be-filled-soon\/","title":{"rendered":"New parks post to be filled soon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>By BOB SHRALUKA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>WZBD.com<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new parks superintendent is expected to be named for the City of Decatur in the next few days and with it will come some minor restructuring within the street\/sanitation department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mayor Dan Rickord said at Tuesday night&#8217;s city council meeting that the selection process for the parks job was down to three applicants.
