The conference that they come from, it&#8217;s physical basketball. You know, they&#8217;re like a junior and a senior. And so my hope is that&#8217;s where our guards will be by that stage.\u201d Freeman\u2019s guards are all freshmen and sophomores. They were able to keep the Panthers within reach by pressuring them into shooting only 32% from the floor (8-for-20 on twos, 2-for-11 on threes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Starfires needed a good start to the second half to close the gap. Instead they turned the ball over on their first two possessions while the Panthers scored the first six points to go up, 29-15. Though South Adams did get it to 29-20 with a quick 5-0 run\u2014thanks to three free throws by Lucy Schwartz and a jumper by Shaylee Sprunger\u2014Parkway sophomore Abby Williamson hit a pair of threes to spearhead a 9-2 rally.
